1. Scope
These terms govern use of RentX Asset Cloud (“RentX” or the “Platform”), including the marketplace, rental and purchase requests, quotations, contracts, transport and mobilization, handover reports, maintenance, support, invoices and collections.
RentX operates as a technology platform connecting and administering transactions. The vendor/asset owner may be independent from the platform operator; the request, quotation and contract identify the relevant provider and allocation of obligations.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials and use accounts only through authorized persons. RentX may require identity, commercial registration, licensing, authorization or other verification documents.
3. Requests, quotations and contracts
An asset listing or indicative rate is not final acceptance. A transaction becomes binding according to its platform status after a quotation is accepted and a rental/contract or approved purchase workflow is created. Before completion, the Platform displays the essential characteristics, price, applicable additions/taxes, and payment/delivery/performance arrangements relevant to the service.
4. Pricing and taxes
Rates may be hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, project-based or sale prices. Taxes, fees and additions are shown separately or within the total as indicated. Waiting, transport, permits, damage and extension charges require an approved operational/contractual record.
5. Delivery, use and return
The customer must use assets only for the approved purpose, site and rental period and follow safety/operating instructions. Asset condition may be documented by photos, meter/fuel readings, checklists and electronic signatures at delivery and return.
6. Sales
When sale mode is enabled, transfer, inspection, delivery and warranty (if any) are governed by the final accepted offer and applicable law. A purchase inquiry alone does not transfer ownership or constitute proof of payment or official registration.
7. Payments
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout or billing. The Platform maintains invoice, collection and settlement records. A RentX wallet is not a bank account or custody service unless a specifically licensed service states otherwise.
8. Cancellation and refunds
The published cancellation/refund policy and accepted quotation/contract apply, without limiting mandatory statutory rights. Rights may vary depending on service type, use, commencement of performance and statutory exceptions.
9. Content and data
Users warrant the accuracy and lawful use of uploaded data, images and documents. RentX may retain transaction, operational, compliance and security records as lawfully required.
10. Liability
Each party remains responsible for matters within its control and as allocated under law and contract. Nothing excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Updates and contact
These terms may be updated with a published version and effective date. Questions and complaints can be submitted through the Platform support channels.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with disputes handled through the complaint/dispute process and competent authorities.
